A Cloudy Sunday but........

The Boat got into the water................

Mya & Aiden had their first
boat ride of 2009

Some high flying beach swinging took place...........

And as the last of my tulips look
out the window at the beautiful,
gentle falling rain....

.......all my flowers are happy, their feet have been planted in the soil, a beautiful rain is washing off their greenhouse dust, and they are smiling..(I think!

  2. We got lucky. We got our cottage 35 years ago and it cost us $800 and our lease was $50 a year.
    It is almost immpossible for the average person to purchase a place at a lake anymore..as the prices have sky rocketed. Sad....

  3. yup lake front property is so atrociously priced...my mom and dad live at Madge Lake and they are 80 years old now. I love going out there. I think they bought their cottage 24 years ago for $40,000.00 and it is not lake front property. You did well with your nice place at Lac Pelletier. looking forward to more summer lake posts {no pressure}
